What are your rates?

Can I use a credit card to pay?

Yes. We accept cash, debit and credit cards.

What should I wear?

The great thing about our in home sessions is that you have your whole wardrobe at hand and for most sessions there is usally time for a change or two.  

If you want to change during the photo shoot it is best if you plan ahead and have your changes ready before the photographer arrives.

It's best to avoid wearing bold colours and patterns when you come to the session. 

It is usually best to try not to wear clashing colours but this can sometimes be advantageous if for instance the one with the different colours is the youngest or the only male/female.

Make sure your clothes are clean and pressed.

 

How long does a home session last?

A home session can last up to 3 hours. 

1 hour to set up and dismantle the studio.

30 mins to 1 hour shooting

30 mins to 1 hour if your choose to pick your photos on the day

by viewing them on our laptop or your tv.

If you choose the CD PROOF option it should last about 2 hours and you can then pick your photos at your leisure.

 

How much room does your portable studio need?

 

We have a few options which we can use and this will vary according to how many people are to be in any one photo.

However the widest backdrop we bring is app 9 ft wide and the stands take it to 12ft so for the vast majority of home sessions we need 12ft x 12ft or less. Down to 7f x 7ft 

 

Do I have to use your backdrops?

 

You may prefer to use your own stylishly decorated home or garden for the setting in the photos which may only require minimal room for flash lights etc.

 

How much will it cost?

 

The final cost will depend on which of our fantastic value packages you opt for.

There is a minimum spend of £90.00 for a home sitting which gets youa 

FABULOUS 18 or 16 inch x 12inch CANVAS WRAP 

Plus  our Grantie pack which consists of 2 mounted 9 x 6 and 4 mounted 6 x 4  of the single  image of your choice. If you dont want 4 of 6 x 4 prints you can swap 1 or two for a sheet of 4 credit card or key ring size

unmounted prints.

 

More than enough to keep parents grannies and a few aunties happy.

 

OR BRING SOME FRIENDS.

If  you know some other people who would like a family photo done then you could invite them round to share the experience and the costs.

If there are say three families you could each spend £30.00 and have a Lomond pack.

This consists of a Grantie pack plus 1 mounted 10 x 8 print of the same image.

 

Some well established photographers will charge over £100.00 for this sort of package and you will still have to take your family to their studio.

 

As for our other framed, canvas wraps and acrylic packages you will

be able to view your photos with absolutely no pressure and choose which fits best with your own personal style and budget.

You can have a CD/DVD to view at your leisure for up to two weeks before deciding.

 

What if my children don't like strangers?

TMG have many years of experience working with children of all different natures. We are proud of our ability to patiently allow the children to come round and relax. Of course it goes without saying that with young children there is no guarantee. 

However if your kids are unsure of strangers then there is a far greater chance of them relaxing in the security of their own home surrounded by their family with their own toys and things to show off and use as props.
